Wooden pegs

Wooden pegs are used for traditional sole attachment techniques. Before glues were as powerful and waterproof as today, wooden pegs were widely used to attach leather soles. The pegs are meant to break in the hole you make with the pegging awl. 

The pegs have different sizes to be used for different parts and phases:

3.5/12 - 12mm long -- for the rand area and insole attachment

4/14 - 13mm long -- for the shank area

4.5/14 - 14mm long -- for the shank area

5/12 - 16mm long -- for the sole

5.5/12 - 19 mm long - for the thick sole

Pegs are packaged in 160g (5.6 oz) bags.
